Privacy policy
This website does not collect personal data. No contact forms, no accounts, no tracking, no cookies. Here is exactly what that means.
Last updated . This page is a plain-English draft written for the gym and has not yet been reviewed by a solicitor.
Who we are
This website is run by Total Body Fitness Gym, a UK Partnership operating a boxing club and fitness gym in Crofty, Swansea. We are the data controller for any personal information we hold about you.

A general partnership is not registered at Companies House, so there is no company number to quote. If you need to write to us, use the address above.
The short version
This website does not collect any personal data from you. That is a deliberate decision, not an oversight. Specifically, this site has:
- No contact forms, sign-up forms or enquiry forms.
- No member accounts, logins or passwords.
- No newsletter or mailing list.
- No analytics or visitor-tracking scripts.
- No advertising pixels, remarketing tags or advertising partners.
- No embedded maps, videos, chat widgets, social feeds or other third-party embeds.
- No cookies of any kind.
You can read every page on this site without telling us anything about yourself. We do not build a profile of you, we do not sell or share data, and there is nothing here for us to sell or share.
The pages are plain files served by a hosting provider. Like any web host, that provider may keep short-term technical records such as IP addresses for security and to keep the site running. We do not add any tracking of our own to those records and we do not use them to identify visitors.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies at all. Not essential ones, not analytics ones, not advertising ones. Nothing is stored on your device by us.
That is why you will not see a cookie banner here. Cookie banners exist because sites need your consent before storing non-essential cookies. We do not store any, so there is nothing to consent to and no banner to click away.
If you contact us
Enquiries happen by phone, by WhatsApp or in person at the gym. If you get in touch, we will have whatever you choose to send us — usually your name, your phone number and what you asked about.
We use that information for one purpose: to answer you. We do not add you to a marketing list. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us about the gym, and, where you are asking about joining, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Phone calls
Calls are not recorded. Your number will appear in the call history of the phone you rang, in the same way as any mobile phone.
WhatsApp is our main enquiry route. If you message us there, the message is carried and stored by WhatsApp, which is part of Meta, under WhatsApp's own privacy policy. That is outside our control. We can only see the messages you send us; how WhatsApp and Meta handle your data is a matter between you and them.
If you would rather not use WhatsApp, please ring us instead.
If you email us, we hold your message and your email address only for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry. A branded email address for the gym is still being set up, so for now the quickest routes are phone and WhatsApp.
Membership information
Joining the gym is a separate process from this website. Membership details are taken on paper at the gym, in person. Nothing about membership is collected, submitted or processed through this site.
When you join, you are given the details of what is collected and why at the point of joining. If you want to know what the gym holds about you as a member, ask at reception or ring the numbers above.
We are not going to state retention periods for membership paperwork here, because we have not yet set them in writing. That is being documented as part of the gym's wider membership terms, and this page will be updated when it is.
Children
The gym runs junior and kids classes, and this website describes them. The site itself collects nothing from anyone, children included. Where a child joins the gym, their details are given by a parent or guardian in person at the gym.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you have the right to:
- Access — ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Rectification — ask us to correct anything that is wrong or incomplete.
- Erasure — ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep.
- Restriction — ask us to pause using your information while something is checked.
- Objection — object to us using your information where we rely on legitimate interests.
- Portability — ask for information you gave us in a portable form, where that right applies.
To use any of these rights, ring us on 07780 543501 or come and speak to us at the gym. We may ask a couple of questions to check who you are before we hand anything over. There is no charge, and we will respond within one month.
In practice, if you have only ever visited this website, we hold nothing about you and there will be nothing to give you.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's data protection regulator.

Changes to this policy
If the site changes — for example if a contact form or a member area is added later — this policy will be rewritten before that change goes live, and the date at the top of this page will be updated.
